GERALDINE SCHRÖDER
Lives and works in Mallorca, Spain.
Born in Basel, Geraldine Schröder studied at the Alsterdamm Art School in Hamburg. Her early career led her into the world of advertising, but during the pandemic, she reconnected with her first passion—painting. Today, for Geraldine, being an artist is about following one’s inner voice and finding a sense of peace through creative expression.
Her abstract works invite the viewer into a quiet, contemplative dialogue—posing questions without offering answers, and encouraging the imagination to move beyond what is seen. Working primarily with acrylics, Geraldine also explores a range of materials and techniques, developing a distinctive visual language through dynamic circles and figures.
Her creative process is ongoing and intuitive, unfolding between her studios in Hamburg and Palma de Mallorca, where she now produces most of her recent work.
