Biography

Danish/english born in Mallorca (Spain). The artist's unique upbringing has influenced her work greatly.

Being somewhat isolated in a sleepy town in the mountains of Mallorca, distant most of the time from people and materialism. Transforming her painting into a healing process, coping with the isolation itself.

Following the sudden passing of her artist best friend and birth of her child, her art took on a new dimension. Inspired by the paradox between life and death, her colorful paintings are full of snake forms and skin patterns, symbolizing both renewal and transformation. Her art is a reflection of the joy and sorrow that coexist in life, and her unique perspective continues to captivate.

Artist Statement

My motivation for painting snakes in all their forms, stems from a desire to fulfill what my late best friend and artist was unable to accomplish. Through my art, I aim to inspire others to awaken to the preciousness of life and to appreciate it fully every day. My hope is to remind people to live life to its fullest and to let go of unnecessary burdens.

Ultimately, I believe that spreading this message is my life's purpose.
